notes.
It is estimated that Iranian authorities block access to more than 5 million
webpages, including popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube; in addition to porn
sites, bank webpages, and any media considered hostile to Iran.
Iranian try to access blocked wepsites by seeking anti-filter programs or even hiring foreigners to invent detour sever.
the young expert said that "Internet censorship is ridiculous. If people want to see pornographic photos or
political websites, they will do so without problems," and "The filtering project in Iran has been a total failure. Those who want to surf
a website will surf it, and those who drafted the law know it," he added.

"This text has been limited" this copy seems familiar in a certain location.
Many websites including twitter, facebook, youtube, google etc. are limited in Iran.
Thus there may be some people who have never seen the recent SNS campaign
called "ice bucket challenge" because of limited access to the Facebook or
Youtube by internet censorship. And also it is used in political ways , for example preventing any anti-government references. Then Should the Iran government
stop the internet censorship? I insist that for more positive and easy-to-communicate society, the government needs to reconsider its position in terms of
having the upper hand to control the trend of a global world with several
examples of its negative influence to the people and to the world.
As the Internet develops, people want to access more sites, get more information, and express more thing. Thus for fear that people get second thoughts about their country or policy.. etc. Some governments try to prevent accessing intentionally, that is internet censorship.
Internet censorship is the control or suppression of what can be accessed, published, or viewed on the Internet. It may be carried out by governments or by private organizations at the behest of the government, regulators, or on their own initiative. Individuals and organizations may engage in self-censorship for moral, religious, or business reasons, to conform to societal norms, due to intimidation, or out of fear of legal or other consequences. It is used in various ways by the government. As an example for that, Iran blocked the Twitter by which Iranian express their ideas and even participate in the demonstrations.
Blocking some information or some services online comes to be a cause for protest. Then Why do they protest? Because it prevents any reference, further communication, even isolation
"In Pakistan, the government more focused on spending censoring the internet than to education, although thousands of educational lectures with even 'Urdo', the language of Pakistan, all of them are restricted by internet censorship."
Like this, Iran refuses "helpful things", even "paying money"(social costs). And also ignores people's opinions and even doesn't permit those opinions that would be ignored to be posted online.
Of course, internet censorship is for making people isolated or separated from dangerous things. However at least In Iran, people tend to be isolated from the world especially by politically focused censorship online.
People can argue that internet censorship can block the harmful information, illegal sites like gamble sites, drugs sites, or porn. However, it often focuses on political purposes rather than those at least in Iran. According to "News Week" in Joongang magazine, As the Twitter is used for demonstrations that protest the government by people. Iran government regulated and blocked it for a while. It means that the Internet censorship in the case of Iran censors not the harmful information, but innocent people's thoughts regarded as a negative in the perspective of nation, and SNS.

The effect of internet censorship has many disadvantages. First people can not express their ideas. Expressing ideas is a great way to improve, grow, better off, however preventing it means locking their own door to go better. Second it restricts even helpful information. With a reason that the site contains somewhere-maybe harmful information, government limits the site at all. That means it lost great information too. Third, social costs are wasted, in terms of managing it, costs that would be used for another good thing are took for enacting novel regulations or managing.

To conclude, Iran government should cease to censor the internet. "The more people question, the more will be censored" is not the ideal, it makes people not to be able to express ideas, socially economically creates obstacles. As we've seen various examples
From other country, and facts about it, we can see that Iran's censorship is not for people, but for only the nation itself. Thus for building more flexible easy-to-communicate between people and country trends, Iran needs to cease that censorship and compromise with its people.
