1. Attention grabber -

I attracted the audience with firstly showing the copy indicating the internet censorship, and also explaining various cases from some countries, speculation by it and then i articulated the exact meaning of internet censorship.

2. Explains the topic -

I referred to the topic as a question before thesis, considering the order the speculation related with it. 

3. My thesis -

 I thought that internet censorship intrigues social isolation on the internet, and prevents communication.


"This text has been limited" this copy seems familiar in certain location. Many websites including twitter, facebook, youtube, google etc are limited in  Iran. Thus there may be some people who have never seen the recent SNS campaign called "ice bucket challenge" because of limited access to the Facebook or Youtube by internet censorship. And also it is used in political ways , for example preventing any anti-government references. Then Shoud the Iran government should stop the internet censorship?  i insist that  for more positive and easy-to-communicate society, the government needs to reconsider its position in terms of having the upper hand to control a trend of global world with several examples of its negative influence to the people and to the world.

Internet censorship creates obstacles in advancement of society both economically and socially.

 As unavailability of Internet access creates isolated societies similarly, internet censorship in the guise of protecting the state, society and religion creates seclusion and further deepens the digital divide.

 It is important for regulators, politicians and people in authority to understand that filtering the internet will not filter’s people mind and desire for information and freedom of speech. Instead, will advance isolation of society and deter progress of the social order.


Pakistan remains disconnected from participating and benefiting from the biggest learning cycle in human history mainly due to Internet censorship. The story does not end here.

What is my current topic?

When i see beautiful campaign called "ice bucket challenge" on the Facebook, i thought that someone could not see that because of the politically(or other purpose) focused censorship. So i'll try to focus on the disadvantages of it and also following isolation by it.

What are my guiding questions?

2,What are the disadvantages of internet censorship?

3,is internet censorship related to socially isolation?

What are my current thoughts?

As the internet developes, the following not only advantages but, disadvantages arise. and also the appeareance of SNS is related to higher censorship be the government. So i think the internet censorship is unnecessary and also inadequate for communication of the people.

What is the opposition?

Even without censorship,, already nonexistence of communication  is going on, Or

even with censorship, people can fully communicate
